Abstract:The Guiwan River Bridge is a two-span through steel structure beam-arch composite system bridge. Its span layout is (124.65 + 86.84) m=211.49 m. The middle pier is concreted, and the movable bearings are set at the side piers. Vehicles are simulated by means of MIDAS nodal dynamic loads to analyze the vehicle-bridge coupled vibration response. The calculation results under specific working conditions are compared with the measured data under the same conditions to verify the correctness of the calculation model. The variation laws of displacements and accelerations at key measuring points are analyzed under different values of parameters such as vehicle driving speed, vehicle axle load, eccentric load and bridge damping. Based on these findings, the impact of vehicle bridge coupled vibration on the pedestrian comfort is analyzed, providing references for the design, operation and maintenance of similar bridges.
