Abstract:Taking the emergency rescue project for the collapse of a stone arch culvert on a main road in a city as a case, the practical application of the EPC general contracting model led by design in the hazard removal projects of drainage facilities is deeply analyzed. Through on-site engineering analysis of the project characteristics and implementation difficulties, the advantages of this model in engineering design and management are revealed. At the same time, its potential problems such as management risks, hidden costs and integrated control system are objectively revealed. Empirical evidence reveals that the EPC model achieves the goal of dual management and control in the quality and construction period through the deep integration of design and construction. The research results provide a reference for a reusable management model for similar emergency projects of municipal facilities, and have the significant reference value for promoting the application of the EPC model in infrastructure and other fields.
