Abstract:The "micro-reconstruction" of urban roads, as an important part of urban renewal, meets the new requirements of current high-quality urban development. Through the analysis of traditional reconstruction and governance methods of urban roads, a series of problems in traditional reconstruction methods are sorted out, such as insufficient coordination, poor systematicness and waste of resources. It is proposed that the concept of systematic governance for "micro-reconstruction" of urban roads should focus on the comprehensively and systematically solving the existing road problems. In the early stage, the data should be collected in all aspects, and the user needs should be emphasized. The people-oriented principle should be implemented in the scheme design, and the all-element integrated design should be carried out. During the process, the joint evaluation and joint review should be carried out to control the design quality. In the construction stage, the reconstruction concept of coordinated cooperation of design and construction is implemented. Taking the Xi'an Xianning Road and Mingguang Road "Micro-Reconstruction" Project as a demonstration project for systematic governance, the project is a success. The achieved experience can provide the reference for the implementation of subsequent similar projects.
