Abstract:In order to meet the needs of long-distance water delivery under complex conditions, a glass fiber reinforced plastic composite prefabricated pipeline was studied by full-scale model test and finite element analysis.A prefabricated pipeline made of glass fiber reinforced plastic composite materials was designed. The deformation process of the pipeline was analyzed through static load tests, and the research indicated that the pipeline possesses advantages such as high initial ring stiffness, good ductility in the later stage, and high bearing capacity. Impact tests were conducted to investigate the effects of skin thickness and joint connection methods of the pipeline segments on its impact resistance. Based on the test results, practical reinforcement measures and recommended construction for the composite pipeline were proposed.
