Abstract:In order to solve the pain points of traditional form traveler, such as the heavy walking tracks, low assembly degree and weak universality, with the control objectives of fully assembled joints, trackless walking and low weight ratio, a set of trackless assembled triangular form traveler is designed through the means such as numerical simulation and experimental verification. The simulation analysis is carried out for the form traveler during the casting of the concrete of the beam segment and its walking. The safety checks are conducted on the key components, and the verification is carried out through static load tests. The results show that after the walking track of the form traveler is removed, the whole weight ratio of the form traveler is only 0.27, and the weight ratio of the walking system is only 2.26%. The trackless walking mode is realized, and a single walking distance is up to 50cm. All the members of the form traveler are connected by pins, which is convenient for construction. The calibration coefficients of the measured static load data are all around 0.9, which highly coincide with the theoretical values. The force and deformation of the whole and local parts of the form traveler meet the requirements specified in the codes.
