Abstract:Large-scale interchanges play an important role as key nodes in the road network system, and the reconstruction of existing large-scale interchanges has always been a challenge in urban development and construction. Taking the Pinganpu Large-scale Interchange in Wuhan as an example, starting from the current problems and development needs, a macro analysis on the reconstruction strategy of the current interchange is conducted, and the research on overall scheme comparison, traffic micro simulation, and utilization of space under the bridge are carried out in detail. The concept of intensive land use and improving quality and efficiency is integrated into the reconstruction scheme. Finally, the measures and methods that can be taken for functional optimization, operation stability and land use integration in the reconstruction of large-scale interchanges are elucidated. The research conclusion can provide guidance and reference for personnel related to urban management, construction, operation, maintenance, planning and design.
