Abstract:The under-construction Jiasong Highway River-Crossing Bridge is located in Songjiang District, Shanghai. The main bridge is a (130+336+130) m -span semi-floating system self-anchored suspension bridge. Its pylon is a portal-shaped concrete pylon with a window-lattice steel cross brace. Its main girder is a composite structure. The main cable anchorage section is a concrete box girder, and the rest girder sections are the steel box girder + composite bridge deck structures. The main cables are arranged in two parallel cable planes, and the slings are set up in both the side and main spans. Each hoisting point is equipped with double slings. The construction process of “first cable stayed and then suspending cable” is adopted for the bridge. The supports are not installed in the range of 185m mid-span, instead, it is chosen to use the stayed cables to temporarily support the main girder. After the main span is closed to form a cable-stayed bridge system, the structural system is converted to a suspension bridge. Through verification, the structural strength, stiffness and stability all meet the design requirements during both the construction phase and the operational phase after completion.
