Abstract:Fire-induced damage to bridge structures may seriously affect the safety and stability of the bridge. It is very important to carry out the damage appraisal in time. The accurate evaluation of the extent and scope of damage helps provide precise data support for subsequent reinforcement and repair work, thereby ensuring that the bridge can be restored to normal use as soon as possible. Through actual fire engineering cases of rigidly connected hollow slab beam bridges, the on-site inspection, damage level rating, technical condition assessment and load-bearing capacity checking calculation are systematically implemented. According to this, the targeted maintenance and reinforcement recommendations are proposed. The achieved case experience and methods can provide the reference basis for the post-fire emergency rescue of the similar bridges.
