Abstract:To study the ecological reconstruction scheme for lake embankments in areas with significant wind and wave activity, taking the Dianshan Lake Embankment Upgrading and Shoreline Ecological Restoration Project (Phase I) as an example, the existing issues in the present shoreline of Dianshan Lake are sorted out, and the necessity of water ecological restoration is analyzed. The shoreline sections suitable for the ecological restoration trials are selected according to the wind-wave conditions and current aquatic ecosystems. The impacts of wave on plant growth and embankment stability are fully considered. And combined with the waterfront landscape features, an innovative revetment reconstruction scheme is proposed through the relevant analysis and calculation. This scheme takes into account water security, water ecology and water landscape, and is economically feasible, which has the greater application prospect in the similar projects.
