Abstract:As an important comprehensive transportation hub in eastern Guangdong, the Shantou High-Speed Railway Station Hub and its supporting municipal roads are the key components of urban transportation system. To ensure the urban safety and prevent the urban waterlogging, and to implement the strategy of building a strong transportation nation and promote the development of Chinese-style modernization, it is of great significance to scientifically and accurately construct the drainage network supporting the municipal roads of the high-speed railway station hub. Based on the design practice of the drainage network supporting municipal roads of the Shantou High-Speed Railway Station Hub, the multiple key points in the project construction process, such as timely coordination with the in-progress upper-level planning, precise selection of design parameters, reasonable determination of pipeline elevations, scientific handling of existing pipelines, close connection with related projects, and correct handling of short-term and long-term constructions are deeply introduced from the multiple dimensions. By introducing and sorting out the actual engineering problems, the response methods and strategies are summarized, and the relevant design experience is shared, which aims to provide certain design ideas and related experience for the design practice of similar projects in China.
