Abstract:In order to solve the problem of Chinese standards not adapting to local conditions encountered by Chinese enterprises in the process of going overseas, taking the localization of Chinese standards encountered in the promotion of the China-Thailand High-speed Railway Project as an example, the theoretical comparison and experimental analysis are applied to systematically study the similarities and differences in the standards of the most commonly used steel bars and concrete materials in the construction of the high-sped railway projects of China and Thailand, which aims to provide a meaningful reference for the global promotion of Chinese standards under the policy of "One Belt, One Road". The result shows that the requirements for steel bar yield strength, elongation after fracture, and the relevant specification limits of phosphorus, sulfur, and carbon content in Chinese standards are higher than those in Thai industrial standards, and the diameter specifications of Thai steel bars are less than those in Chinese steel bar specifications. The test results show that the local Thai steel bars after process modification fully meet the requirements of relevant Chinese mandatory standards. There is a lack of requirements for the elastic modulus, tensile performance and long-term durability of concrete in Thailand. It is necessary to coordinate with local property owners on the localization implementation of Chinese standards.
