Abstract:Prefabricated multi-segment columns have problems such as insufficient rigidity, low ductility and weak seismic resistance in terms of structural performance. And applying self-locking prestress is an effective means of reinforcement. However, this type of column faces challenges such as complex assembly techniques and difficulty in controlling installation accuracy during actual construction. Therefore, combined with a practical project, the construction process and key control points of self-locking prestressed columns are introduced in detail. The engineering practice confirms that this construction method is feasible and reliable, and has the remarkable advantages in shortening the construction period, improving the construction safety and optimizing the structural force performance, which provides a valuable reference for similar projects.
