Abstract:In addition to the anti-collision function, the anti-collision walls of elevated bridges in urban areas also undertake many other functions. With the aging and durability decline of the anti-collision wall itself, as well as the development of society and economy, the need for comprehensive renovation of these walls has become increasingly urgent. However, upgrading and renovating these walls in urban areas will pose the complex construction challenges. Therefore, a reasonable renovation scheme for anti-collision walls has a significant impact on the feasibility of similar projects. By analyzing the common issues faced by urban elevated bridge anti-collision walls in detail and considering the main factors during renovation, the multiple feasible renovation schemes are proposed, the advantages and disadvantages of each scheme are compared, and the applicable scenarios for each scheme are indicated in order to provide a reference for the subsequent renovation of similar urban elevated anti-collision walls.
