Abstract:The design speed of the Toumen Port Branch Phase II Railway Project is 80 km/h. The 50-m simple-supported box beams are adopted as the design span in the deep sea area. At present, 50 m-span simple-supported box beams have not been applied in passenger-cargo joint railways. Therefore, the design research is carried out. First, the engineering characteristics and construction conditions of the project are introduced, and then the superstructure and substructure are studied, and the static calculation analysis and solid calculation analysis of roof suspension points in the sea are conducted to ensure the structural safety and the construction feasibility of the sea roof hanging. Secondly, due to the complex construction conditions of strong winds and high waves in the sea, the construction scheme of 50-m simple-supported box beams in the sea are discussed. The design of 50 m-span simple-supported box beams for cross-sea railways provides a reference for similar railway projects that share passenger and freight lines.
