Abstract:By comparing and analyzing the investigation reports of 7 engineering projects in the Sanlin Binjiang South Area of Shanghai with the static load test reports of foundation piles collected later, it is found that the bearing capacity of the inspected foundation piles is not fully utilized and the design parameters are too conservative. In order to explore better design parameters of pile foundation bearing capacity, the single-pile bearing capacity of the foundation piles that have completed the static load test is calculated by methods A, B and C respectively. A comparative analysis of the three calculation results reveals that the bearing capacity of compressive piles by Method B and Method C is increased by 13.8%~26.8% and 28.9%~64.1% respectively compared with Method A. The pull-out pile bearing capacity of Method B and Method C is increased by 4.8%~19.6% and 23.2%~38.3% respectively compared with Method A. It can be seen that under the premise of safety and reliability, Method B and Method C have significantly improved economic suitability compared with Method A. It is suggested that Method C is preferred in investigation design, followed by Method B. The analysis method and conclusion can be used as the basis to determine the design parameters of pile foundation bearing capacity in investigation under similar geological conditions.
