Abstract:Since the urban drainage system has entered a new stage of quality improvement and efficiency enhancement with a focus on existing resources and high-quality development, the rainwater and sewage separation work such as pipeline defect investigation, and rainwater and sewage misconnection remediation has been successively carried out in various regions. However, there is still a lack of a more scientific evaluation system for the separation effect of rainwater and sewage. To ensure the progress of the rectification work of drainage network problems and improve the rainwater and sewage separation effect of urban drainage network, 18 specific indicators are selected from four levels such as background situation, operational effect, environmental benefit and long-term management systematically to build the evaluation system for the rainwater and sewage separation effect of urban drainage network. After the service scope of a wastewater treatment plant in a city is selected as the research area, the evaluation index system is applied to evaluate the separation effect of its rainwater and sewage, and the actual influent data is used for verification. The conclusion of the index system evaluation is that the total score of the WWTP is 65.91, and the effect of rainwater and sewage separation in the area is "average". The conclusion based on the analysis on the actual influent data shows that the rainwater and sewage separation effect of the WWTP is also poor. The evaluation conclusion is basically consistent with the conclusion of the influent data analysis, which indicates that the rainwater and sewage separation effect evaluation system is feasible in practice.
