Abstract:With the development and change of the urban road network system and the rapid growth of traffic flow, the remained multi-fork intersections are easy to become the congestion and chaos points of urban traffic management. In order to improve the traffic order and improve the traffic capacity of multi-fork intersection, the optimization method of traffic safety facilities and the engineering reconstruction countermeasure to simplify the complexity are put forward respectively based on the driver's field of view in the driving state. For multi-fork intersections that do not have the conditions for civil engineering reconstruction recently, the path guidance service can be improved by adding ground text marks, optimizing the design of the sign layout, and adjusting the signal control mode. Nodes that meet the conditions to be adjusted to regular intersections can achieve the optimization and radical solution of traffic organization problems by reducing the number of intersecting roads, weakening the functions of intersecting roads, adjusting the alignment of intersecting roads, and refining the design of intersections.
