Abstract:The addition of interchange toll stations to existing expressways is a complex nodal project. To ensure the effective implementation of the design scheme, it is necessary to systematically sort out and analyze various issues and key points encountered during the planning and design stages, and formulate the corresponding solutions. Taking the West Jinchang Road Interchange Toll Station Project co-constructed in the G15 Highway Jiajin Section (G1503 Highway ~ S32 Highway) Reconstruction and Expansion Project as an example, the key design points, such as road network function, interchange spacing, land factors, traffic impact on intersected roads, relationship with important structures, and landscape features are analyzed and summarized. The difficulties encountered in each key point are solved through the scheme comparison, the technical optimization and the other measures. At the same time to ensure the implementation of the project smoothly, the design reference is provided for the addition of interchange toll stations on the other high-grade highways in the future.
