Abstract:Combined with a case of foundation pit support project for co-construction of a vehicle passage and drainage box culvert in Wuhan, the surrounding environment, engineering geological conditions, and foundation pit support schemes for co-construction of the standard section, rainwater pump house and fire pump house are explored in detail. By rationally arranging the supporting piles and internal bracing structures, and adopting a reliable design scheme for the connection the pump houses and the vehicle passage, an unconventional foundation pit engineering construction was achieved finally, which started from shallow to deep and from ancillary to main structures. The support structure design scheme fully considers the influencing factors of shared use of the support in two phases, deformation control, connection and demolition to ensure the timely water supply of the box culvert and the safety of the foundation pit project, which provides a reference for the foundation pit support of co-constructing similar vehicle passages and drainage box culverts.
