Abstract:Aiming to provide solutions to the design challenges of ultra-soft rock over-limit slopes under land use constraints in urban core areas, based on actual engineering cases, the numerical simulation and field monitoring methods was adopted to analyze land use characteristics and over-limit retaining wall design challenges in urban core areas and meanwhile to explore key technologies in material selection, structural optimization, and ecological design during the design phase. The results demonstrate that for over-limit excavation slopes in ultra-soft rock with land use constraints, the implementation of a multi-level pile-anchor structural system combined with pressure-dispersed anchor cables can effectively enhance spatial utilization efficiency, achieve ultimate protection, and reduce environmental impact. Furthermore, utilizing vertical space for plant integration in urban core areas to create ecological spaces and form layered shielding can mitigate the visual impact of retaining walls and provide significant greening effects for the city.
