Abstract:Zhangjiang Town is located in the Pudong New District in Shanghai, which is crisscrossed by rivers, has a large population and is home to a concentration of high-tech industries. With the aim of studying the comprehensive improvement achievements of ecological clean small watershed in Zhangjiang, the contents of various improvement measures are introduced. The analysis and discussion are carried out by comprehensively tracking the construction process and analyzing various parameter indicators. The results indicate that as a pioneering town in the small watershed improvement, relying on the relevant plans and taking into account regional characteristics, the achievements in the regional reconstruction are remarkable, and the construction of contiguous water areas and distinctive check-in spots has been achieved. The overall goal has been realized. By comprehensively tracking the construction processes of soil and water conservation, pollution control, comprehensive river channel improvement, water ecological restoration, ecological agriculture construction, improvement of human living environment and technology empowerment, the smooth implementation of the design concept is ensured. All indicators have reached or exceeded the evaluation values, significantly improving the ecological environment quality of Zhangjiang Town, which has successfully been awarded the title of “National Demonstration County for Soil and Water Conservation”.
