Abstract:The automated monitoring system based on the networking observation of intelligent total stations has been widely applied in tunnel protection monitoring. However, the traditional networking method cannot achieve real-time mutual observation between adjacent total stations. The coordinate calculation can only be achieved by setting the three-dimensional coordinate difference between the transfer prism groups or between the transfer prism and the adjacent total station as the adjustment condition. A new type of timed-rotation prisms fixed between adjacent total stations is proposed for use. The synchronous observations between adjacent total stations are carried out by adjusting the orientation of the prism at regular intervals to achieve the transfer measurements similar to those in a CPIII control network. The simulation data and the measured data show that the new method proposed has the good feasibility, and can conveniently realize the networking observation among multiple total stations. The rotatable prism does not have eccentric observations between adjacent total stations, making it more reliable.
