Abstract:Under the background of ecological civilization and high-quality educational development, the upgrading of artificial lakes into a composite carrier integrating flood storage and waterlogging prevention, ecological services, environmental education and cultural inheritance is of great significance to the construction of green campuses. To create a safe and ecologically vibrant artificial lake, establish an ecological campus where blue and green are interwoven and integrated, and realize “safe and beautiful water”, a scientific design system for artificial lakes is of vital importance. Combined with the artificial lake project of a new campus in a western university, focusing on the key technical aspects of the artificial lake design system, the core essentials of the artificial lake design are expounded from three key dimensions of hydrological analysis, water volume guarantee and lake body design, providing the reusable technical pathways for the construction of artificial lakes.
