Abstract:To verify the allowable bearing capacity of important bridge pile foundations of the Nanxun Elevated Station Bridge in the Rudong - Nantong - Suzhou - Huzhou Intercity Railway under complex geological conditions, two cast-in-situ bored piles with a diameter of 1.0 m and a length of 70 m are selected to conduct the self-balanced pile foundation tests on the original piles. The distributed optical fiber method is used to measure the internal forces of the piles. By embedding sensing optical fibers inside the piles, a sensing network is formed. After the load box is pressurized, the sensor signal data is calculated to obtain the side resistance and end resistance of each section of the test pile. The analysis shows that the errors between the test data and the survey data parameters and the recommended parameters in the railway industry standards are within a reasonable range. The safety and economic rationality of the pile foundation design are confirmed, demonstrating the reliability of applying the self-balanced pile foundation test method in deep soft soil stratum of this area. The reference is provided for the design and optimization of similar engineering pile foundations in the region.
