Abstract:Currently, the Xinchuansha Pump and Sluice Project (Shanghai Section) of the Wusong River Project has not yet been officially put into operation due to its upgrading reconstruction. The cut-off flow construction during the reconstruction has affected the normal connectivity between the river within the sluice and the Yangtze River estuary. In order to understand the actual flood control capacity of the river network in the area where the Xinchuansha Pump and Gate are reconstructed during the reconstruction period, and taking the 2021 water diversion rehearsal in the reconstruction area of the Xinchuansha Pumping and Sluice Project as the research subject, by calculating the maximum gate drainage pre-lowering reservoir capacity of the river network in this area at different time periods, the range of rainfall that the pre-lowering reservoir capacity can carry is analyzed, thereby providing data support for the action decision on whether to add pumps for drainage to lower the water level of the river network. The rainfall range calculation data is applied to water diversion schemes under different working conditions. The results confirm that the research contents of water diversion rehearsal have certain reference values.
