Abstract:Rainy-night reflective markings are the critical infrastructure for ensuring the traffic safety during rainy nights, playing a vital role in improving the visual recognition of the drivers and reducing the risk of traffic accidents. A systematic review has been conducted on the standard specifications and reflective performances of the rainy-night reflective markings, and the testing methods and enhancement strategies of anti-skid performances. Combined with the practical application of rainy-night reflective markings, the performances of the markings are analyzed. The research shows that the existing reflective markings for rainy nights have deficiencies in terms of long-term durability and performance stability, and the requirements for performance indicators in the current standards are still not perfect. Based on the above analysis, the future research directions are proposed, including the material innovation and the optimization of standard systems. The aim is to provide the theoretical support and practical references for the development of rainy-night reflective marking technology in order to further enhance the application effects of reflective markings in the traffic safety during rainy nights.
