Abstract:With the completion and operation of the X Livelihood Project in Unit A of F New Town in Shanghai, it is necessary to reconstruct and upgrade the existing drainage system around the project to eliminate the regional flood and waterlogging hazards, ensure that key roads are not waterlogged during hourly rainfall of 58 mm, and truly guarantee the flood control and drainage safety. The InfoWorks ICM (urban integrated catchment drainage modeling software) is adopted in the reconstruction scheme to demonstrate the rationality and feasibility of the scheme. Additionally, since the river system serves as the conveyance or terminal carrier of the regional rainwater drainage system, it directly affects the feasibility of the drainage system scheme. The HEC-RAS software is also used to analyze the flow capacity of rivers.
