Abstract:To address the frequent occurrence of delaminating distress in steel bridge deck pavement, an adjustment method of shot blasting parameters for steel bridge deck pavement layer for improving bonding performance is proposed, and its effectiveness has been verified through engineering application. Firstly, the different schemes are adopted to conduct the interlayer shot blasting treatment on rutting plate specimens, and the shear tests and pull-out tests are carried out to evaluate the interlayer bonding performance of the specimens, and the schemes are compared and selected. Secondly, based on the orthogonal tests, the influence law of different parameter changes on interlayer bonding performance is analyzed, and the grey relational analysis (GRA) method is used to identify the main controlling factors of performance. Finally, an optimized scheme is summarized and its rationality is verified. On this basis, relying on a certain steel bridge deck pavement upper layer repaving project in Zhoushan area, the proposed method is used for parameter selection in the shot blasting scheme, and the optimization analysis of the bonding layer construction scheme is carried out in combination with the change of bonding layer dosage. The conclusions of the optimization scheme under the condition of allowable change in the amount of the bonding layer are that the optimal shot blasting rate is 10 m/min when the bonding layer dosage is the design value of 0.60 kg/m2 and the bonding layer dosage is 0.65 kg/m2 + the shot blasting rate is 5 m/min, which can provide a reference for improving the interlayer bonding performance of steel bridge deck pavement.
