Abstract:Under the guidance of the green development concept, the carbon reduction and emission reduction work in the field of engineering construction is constantly advancing. The asphalt mixture is often used as the road surface layer in the construction of highways and urban roads, generally composed of coarse and fine aggregates, mineral powder, asphalt and additives. The emission factor method is used to calculate the carbon emissions of asphalt mixture materials during the production and transportation stages, analyze and summarize the impact of different material compositions and their respective proportions on the carbon emissions of asphalt mixture, and provide experience and reference for optimizing the mix design of asphalt mixture and reducing the carbon emissions during the production and transportation stages of asphalt mixture materials. The carbon emissions of the different types of asphalt mixtures and the asphalt mixtures with different material dosages also vary. The impact of the dosage of constituent materials on carbon emissions basically shows a linear changing trend, among which the carbon emissions are inversely proportional to the dosage of aggregate and directly proportional to the asphalt content and additive content. After adding the additives to AC-13, the carbon emissions will increase by approximately 24.6%.
