Abstract:Through the analysis of engineering cases, the design innovation of landscape pedestrian overpasses is systematically expounded. A new type of spatial steel structure form with integrated triangular piers and beams is adopted to fulfill the functions such as connecting non-motorized traffic, spanning the existing expressway, co-structuring with the metro depot structure, and architectural modeling. Meanwhile, through a comparative analysis of codes and standards for pedestrian overpasses at home and abroad, the reasonable value range of comfort indicators are further discussed. The comfort of the bridge is evaluated by calculating the maximum vibration response of the bridge structure so as to further optimize the structural layout. The spatial finite element programs such as MIDAS Civil are adopted to analyze the mechanical properties of the spatial steel trusses in the main structure. The refined design is conducted for complex steel joints. At the same time, the innovative practices of integrating the pedestrian overpasses with the urban environment, and the human-centered design with landscape elements are introduced, which provides the important engineering references for the construction of similar landscape pedestrian overpasses.
