Abstract:With the expanding application of high-strength rebar and high-performance concrete in reinforced concrete structures, the impact of rebar corrosion on the durability of concrete structures cannot be overlooked. To reveal the influence of high-strength rebar and RPC materials on the durability degradation of reinforced concrete beams, firstly the numerical simulation method is adopted to combine two types of concrete (RPC and C60) and two types of rebar (HTRB600 and HRB400), forming three types of reinforced concrete beams (HRPC, LRPC and HRC). And then, taking corrosion time (0, 30, 60, 90 and 120 d) as variables, a material performance degradation model considering the effects of corrosion is introduced to simulate the deterioration of structural load-bearing capacity under the coupled effects of corrosion and loading. Finally, the simulation results are compared with experimental data to validate the reliability of the simulating calculation method.
