Design Overview of Pedestrian Underpass at a Complex Intersection Overseas

摘要:

随着“一带一路”倡议的深入推进，我国海外市政基础设施建设正由“大而广”向“小而美”转型。针对东非某国首都中心城区存在的交通拥堵与行人安全隐患现状，在CBD环岛位置规划设计建设一处地下人行通道，改善通行效率与安全性。结合项目建设背景、建设条件与限制因素，从总体布局、结构设计、通风与防洪、电气及无障碍设计等方面进行系统阐述，并探讨了城市限制条件下的技术挑战及实施方案。该项目在满足该国规范的同时，引入中国规范开展设计，实现了中外标准的的融合，为类似项目的开展提供了参考。

Abstract:

With the further advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative, the overseas municipal infrastructure construction of China is shifting from “large and extensive” to “small and refined”. In response to the current situation of traffic congestion and pedestrian safety hazards in the central urban area of the capital of a country in East Africa, a pedestrian underpass is planned, designed and constructed at the CBD roundabout to improve the traffic efficiency and safety. Combined with the construction background, construction conditions and constraints of the project, the overall layout, structural design, ventilation and flood control, electrical systems, and accessibility design are systematically expounded, and the technical challenges and implementation schemes under urban constraints are discussed. By complying with the norms of that country, the Chinese norms are also introduced for design, achieving the integration of Chinese and foreign standards and providing a reference for the implementation of similar projects.
