Abstract:Aiming at the severe ecological problems such as the composite pollution of water bodies and the decline in self-purification capacity caused by sewage discharge, leachate leakage and the hardening of the underlying surface during the rapid urbanization process in China, taking a typical water environment treatment project as an example, the engineering measures combining the source control and the end treatment are comprehensively taken to seek the effective paths to enhance the urban aquatic ecological environment quality and promote the sustainable development. The practice has demonstrated that the systematic engineering governance model centered on “source control and sewage interception - ecological restoration - hydraulic regulation” can effectively address the complex pollution and ecological degradation in urban water environments, which can provide the feasible technical references and case support for similar urban water ecological restoration projects.
