Abstract:To study the design characteristics of onsite traffic long-span concrete-filled steel tube bridges, taking Baima Wujiang River Bridge as the research object, the design characteristics of the bridge are introduced in detail from several aspects such as overall layout, structural design and calculation, and construction scheme of the bridge. To solve the problems of the bridge such as heavy load, narrow bridge deck and complicated geological conditions, the truss-type concrete filled steel tube section, optimized arch rib transverse brace, light steel-concrete composite bridge deck, and arch abutment with pile foundation are adopted in bridge design. To reduce the interference to the construction of adjacent tunnel and ensure the smooth implementation of the bridge, the cable hoisting construction scheme without cable pylon and on-site assembly platform is adopted during construction. The key technical details of design and construction introduced can provide important engineering reference for the construction of similar bridges.
