Abstract:This study begins with a conceptual analysis of the resilience of urban-rural road networks under natural disaster disturbances. It traces the evolution from the core concept of resilience to a clear definition based on the network topology perspective, laying a solid foundation for subsequent research. Constructing the network topology structure of the urban-rural road network system is a crucial step in resilience assessment research for dealing with natural disaster disturbances. This process transforms the actual road network into a quantifiable network model, clearly illustrating the connectivity and spatial layout of its components. To accurately assess resilience, an evaluation system comprising multiple key indicators was developed. The degree and degree distribution of nodes reflect the connectivity tightness; betweenness centrality highlights the hub role of nodes within the network; the average path length measures the efficiency of information or resource transmission; the clustering coefficient of nodes reveals local connectivity characteristics; and network efficiency (node efficiency and global efficiency) evaluates overall road network performance from a holistic perspective.
