Abstract:Due to the deficiencies of the traditional cast-in-place method in repairing manhole covers of urban road networks, a repair technology of prefabricated manholes with rapid construction and quick traffic opening is studied and proposed to improve the efficiency and quality of maintenance. An integrated manhole cover of pre-embedded threaded sleeves and positioning limit devices is adopted. Before the replacement, a wooden model test installation is carried out. The single-sized crushed stone and early-strength cement slurry are used to fill the bottom of the manhole trench and the ring of manhole in sequence in order to optimize the base and manhole ring structure. And also the on-site construction process and procedures are optimized. The technology significantly enhances the strength and quality stability of the manholes and greatly shortens the curing time. At the same time to ensure the maintenance quality, the construction cost is effectively reduced. The proposed comprehensive optimization scheme has the reference and guiding significance for the rapid repair practice of manholes at home and abroad.
