Abstract:In order to improve the smoothness of asphalt pavement in the construction of highway pavement and ensure the comfort and safety of driving, taking the construction of an expressway asphalt pavement in the Greater Bay Area of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, combined with the asphalt pavement construction flatness control technology, the key factors restricting the flatness of the pavement are deeply analyzed, and focusing on the construction equipment, the paving and rolling process and the joint treatment measures, a set of targeted and highly operable asphalt pavement smoothing engineering control technology system has been formulated to clarify the control essentials in the construction process of asphalt pavement from the underlying layer to the surface layer. The inspection results show that the system can effectively improve the flatness index of the asphalt pavement and significantly reduce the driving bumpiness, providing a reference for the engineering quality management.
