Abstract:With the rapid surge in domestic automobile ownership and the accelerated urbanization, the contradiction between the supply and demand of urban parking spaces has become increasingly acute. The ultra-deep shaft intelligent parking garages have emerged as a critical solution owing to their efficient utilization of underground space. Nevertheless, the installation of steel structures for parking equipment in ultra-deep shaft environments confronts multiple challenges. Traditional scattered component assembly technology for steel structures suffers from issues including difficult quality control, high safety risks, and prolonged construction progress, which is hard to meet the installation requirements in the ultra-deep shaft environments. Relying on the completed open caisson-type parking garage project in Jianye District, Nanjing, the modular installation technical processes and key technologies of steel structures are expounded. And based on the engineering cases, the assembly process of traditional steel structure components and the modular installation process of steel structures are compared and analyzed from three aspects of construction safety, construction quality and construction progress. The results indicate that modular steel structure installation technology can significantly reduce the safety risks, improve the installation quality, and shorten the construction cycle, which provides the reliable technical support for the construction of ultra-deep shaft intelligent parking garages, and has a great significance for promoting the development of urban underground space and intelligent parking industry.
