Abstract:In recent years, a large number of highways in China have reached or exceeded their designed service life. The resulting maintenance decision-making issues have become increasingly prominent, and it has become important to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the service condition of the pavement structure. In combination with the maintenance project of Li-Ma Expressway, three-dimensional ground-penetrating radar and rapid laser deflection detection vehicles were used for on-site road inspections. At the same time, it combines indoor test methods to obtain key indicators of pavement materials, forming a comprehensive service condition evaluation method that combines the integrity and strength evaluation of the pavement structure. It also proposes corresponding evaluation classification threshold values and maintenance decision-making systems. The research results have been successfully applied in actual engineering, providing scientific guidance for highway maintenance decisions.
