Abstract:With the continuous advancement of urbanization, the special-shaped steel structure pedestrian overpass combining functionality and landscape is gradually becoming an important choice for the construction of urban infrastructure, but the force of special-shaped steel box beam bridge is complex. When using the beam-grid model or the single-beam model for calculation, the results often have deviations. Therefore, taking a 32-m simple-supported Y-shaped steel box beam pedestrian overpass as the background, and through the establishment of plate element finite element model, the design features of the special-shaped forked steel box beam and its force characteristics under the action of loads such as crowds and temperature are analyzed. The results show that the special-shaped forked steel box beam has the considerable uncertainties in terms of longitudinal bending, torsion and distortion. By reasonably setting up transverse partitions and other measures, the influence brought by irregular shapes can be reduced to meet the engineering design requirements.
