Abstract:Aiming at the engineering problems and difficulties faced by early design and construction limitations, such as prominent fatigue damage to the suspenders and shortened service life of the suspender arch bridges under heavy traffic, as well as insufficient safety reserves and high accident risks in some unstiffened longitudinal beams, a systematic maintenance and reinforcement solution is proposed. Taking a half-through stiff skeleton arch bridge in Zhejiang as the engineering background, focusing on the whole process of suspender replacement and steel longitudinal beam addition, the technical system containing the selection of key parameters, design of monitoring methods and analysis of monitoring results is constructed. The practical engineering verification shows that all control indicators of the scheme meet the design requirements, and the structural safety and durability are significantly improved, which can provide technical reference for the maintenance and reinforcement of similar bridges.
