Abstract:Traditional barrages face numerous issues in ecological buffer zone landscape projects, such as high installation requirements, poor frost resistance, unsatisfactory landscape effects, high maintenance costs and insufficient ecological adaptability. Combined with the needs in two aspects of ecological protection and landscape construction in an ecological buffer zone in the Yangtze River Delta, a landscape hydraulic steel dam gate suitable for wide water surfaces and high head conditions has been researched and developed. Its structural innovation principles and the key innovation points focusing on the specially designed self-lubricating bearings, zero leakage of the bottom shaft through the wall, and solar-powered unattended operation are expounded in detail. The practical application demonstrates that the application effect of this new hydraulic steel dam gate performs effectively in an ecological buffer zone in the Yangtze River Delta, which can not only achieve the core functions of water storage during dry seasons and flood discharge during flood seasons, but also create a distinctive landscape by taking advantage of the overflow at the gate top, balancing ecological protection and engineering practicality, providing a reliable technical reference and engineering demonstration for landscape projects and water conservancy ecological management in ecological buffer zones in the Yangtze River Delta region, and demonstrating its value for promotion in municipal water conservancy engineering.
