Abstract:At present, there are two types of traffic connection modes, such as terminal entry and mid-level entry when large high-speed railway hubs rapidly gather and disperse on elevated ramps. Firstly, combined with the situations of over ten large high-speed railway hub projects, the influencing factors, technical characteristics and applicability of two station entry modes are analyzed, which are closely related to factors such as hub scale, vertical rail space, drop-off passenger demand and distribution schemes. The research result reveals that for relatively small-scale hubs, the mid-level entry mode should not be blindly adopted. Instead, the terminal-level entry mode with a smaller impact on the railway and convenient for phased construction should be preferred. Only when the distance between the vertical rails is twice (2D) greater than the required length (L) of the drop-off lane edge, the mid-level entry scheme can be considered. For relatively larger-scale high-speed railway hubs, the mode of mid-level entry can be given priority. The mode of terminal-level entry is more suited for the phased implementation of railway and dual-side square. When the scale of new railway expansion is large, a composite station entry scheme can also be considered. Secondly, the analysis conclusions are applied to the engineering practice. And combined with the analysis on the planning scheme of the South Jiaxing Railway Station, the advantages and disadvantages of the two modes are compared. Finally, the terminal-level entry scheme with perfect function, strong implementability and high flexibility of phase is selected.
