Abstract:As a backbone of urban traffic, an elevated road in megacity carries the dual functions of traffic guidance and urban landscape display. Its renewal and reconstruction are the important starting points for solving urban traffic congestion, optimizing spatial quality and connecting urban overall planning. Taking Shanghai Inner Ring Elevated Road as the research object, combined with the specific requirements of "Inner Ring Rejuvenation", based on the core concept of urban renewal of "Remaining, Reconstructing and Removing", and through policy analysis and case comparison at home and abroad, the core path and model innovation of elevated road renewal in megacities are systematically discussed, and the replicable and propagable renewal paradigm of elevated roads in megacities is refined, which provides theoretical support and engineering practice reference for the renewal of similar elevated roads in megacities.
