Abstract:To ensure the operational safety of the south approach bridge of Chongqi Bridge in Shanghai and improve the digitalization level of bridge maintenance management, combined with the structural characteristics, coastal high salt fog service environment and relevant policy requirements of the bridge, its structural health monitoring system is designed. Firstly, on the basis of comprehensive consideration, the left span of the 7th span, the left span of the 8th span, the right span of the 8th span and the left span of the 9th span of this bridge are selected as representative spans. And then for on four types of monitoring items such as environment, action, structural response and structural variation, the fiber Bragg grating sensors, dynamic weighing instruments, machine vision and other devices are equipped to successfully build the system framework consisting of sensor module, data acquisition and transmission module, data processing and management module, and data analysis and application module. The system can realize the real-time perception of structural state, intelligent data processing, over-limit early warning and comprehensive health assessment, providing support for bridge damage identification, safety early warning, maintenance decision-making and life-cycle management, which can offer a reference for the design of structural health monitoring systems for long-span continuous beam bridges in coastal environments.
