Abstract:To ensure the operational safety of the south approach bridge of Chongqi Bridge and improve the digitalization level of bridge maintenance management, a structural health monitoring system was designed based on the structural characteristics, coastal high-salt fog service environment and relevant policy requirements of the bridge. Representative spans including the left frame of Span 7, the left and right frames of Span 8, and the left frame of Span 9 were selected, and four types of monitoring items were arranged, covering environment, load, structural response and structural variation. Equipped with fiber Bragg grating sensors, dynamic weighing instruments, machine vision and other equipment, the system framework consists of sensor module, data acquisition and transmission module, data processing and management module, and data analysis and application module. The system can realize real-time perception of structural state, intelligent data processing, over-limit early warning and comprehensive health assessment, providing support for bridge damage identification, safety early warning, maintenance decision-making and life-cycle management. It can also offer a reference for the design of structural health monitoring systems for long-span continuous girder bridges in coastal environments.
