Abstract:With the orderly advancement of urban renewal in China, more and more mountainous cities are in urgent need of completing the combined sewer system for separation and reconstruction. Therefore, it is vital to summarize the experience of sewage and clear water separation reconstruction with the characteristics of mountainous cities. Combined with the experience of the sewage and clear water separation reconstruction project in a southern mountainous city, and aiming at the unique problem of mixed mountainous waters in mountainous cities, an overall reconstruction idea of the clear water and sewage separation in the mountainous areas is systematically proposed. And the key points required to be controlled in the early survey stage, such as geophysical exploration and detection, water quality and quantity analysis, underground channel detection and household investigation are specifically clarified. According to the engineering characteristics, the solutions to engineering difficulties are discussed, such as separation of clear water and sewage, separation of rainwater and sewage, construction of new sewage pipeline network, reconstruction of overflow well of main sewage interception pipeline and construction of smart water utilities. The implementation of the project will reduce the amount of external water intrusion into urban sewage systems, and cut down the overflow pollution of the main sewage interception pipelines along the river, which provides a reference idea for the separation and reconstruction of clear water and sewage in the similar mountainous cities.
