Abstract:With the rapid development of urban construction, the municipal underground pipeline network, known as the lifeline of the city, has received increasing attention. Therefore, the use of new methods and the investment in new equipment have become a vital force in urban underground pipeline detection. By placing sensors (probes) with signal sources into the target pipeline and combining with ground-based guidance instruments to receive and analyze signals, precise positioning and burial depth measurement of pipelines are achieved. This paper compares and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of guidance instrument positioning technology and conventional pipeline detection technology, proposes an efficient detection scheme suitable for non-metallic pipelines, and verifies the high precision and reliability of this method through practical engineering cases. The results show that guidance instrument positioning technology effectively compensates for the shortcomings of traditional methods in non-metallic pipeline detection and has broad prospects for promotion and application.
