Abstract:The mixing and misconnecting problems of urban rainwater and sewage pipeline networks are prominent bottlenecks restricting the urban renewal, quality improvement and water environment governance, which seriously impair the stable operation of the drainage system. The rainwater mixed into the sewage pipeline network will increase the operational load of pipelines, trigger the overflow of sewage pipeline and reduce the influent BOD concentration of wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). And the sewage misconnected into the rainwater pipeline network will make the pollutants directly discharge into rivers and lakes, resulting in the degradation of aquatic ecological environments. There are the shortcomings such as difficulty in disconvering hidden points and low working efficiency in the traditional manual method of checking the mixed and misconnected rainwater and sewage pipeline networks. With the advancement of urban renewal, relying on the digital technology for intelligent drainage, the on-line monitoring data of water level and flow rate in the pipelie network are integrated, and the operational status of pipeline networks in the different periods are compared, which can accurately judge and dynamically identify the mixing problems of rainwater and sewage in the areas so as to improve the inspection efficiency and judging quality. Based on the data collected by IoT monitoring devices for intelligent drainage, the focus is on analyzing the traceability of mixing pipeline networks on the upstream catchment areas, which can effectively reduce the scope of manual inspection and lower the cost of treatment, providing the data support and technical references for the quality improvement and reconstruction of drainage pipeline networks, the comprehensive treatment of mixing and misconnection, and refined operation and maintenance management in the context of urban renewal.
