Abstract:To reveal the inducing factors of river revetment landslides in the mountainous areas and provide scientific and feasible prevention, control and treatment references, the research is conducted on the problem that such landslides are mostly caused by the combined effect of natural and human factors. Based on a case of river revetment landslide in a mountainous area in southern China, the key factors including hydrology, meteorology, topography, geology, surrounding structures and construction schemes are comprehensively examined. Through calculation and verification using finite element software, comparative analysis of unstable and stable sections, and investigation of pipeline network leakage, the causes of the landslide are analyzed in depth. The results show that the landslide is mainly induced by pipeline network leakage leading to soil degradation, rainwater infiltration weakening slope stability, and inadequate construction control. Accordingly, a three-level treatment scheme of “first risk control, then governance, and finally prevention” is proposed. After verified through engineering operation and flood season tests, the scheme is effective and reasonable, and can provide technical support for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of similar river revetment projects.
