Abstract:To address the odor problems arising from sewage treatment process, taking the odor deodorization upgrading system of the Xiamen Yundang Water Purification Plant as an example, and on the basis of identifying and analyzing the sources of odorous gases within the plant, a deodorization system with a biological trickling filter process - dual water supply technology is used to treat the odor from the processes. The detection results of the gas online detector at the discharge outlet indicate that the deodorization system can effectively remove the odorous substances in the odor. The unorganized gas detection results at the plant boundary demonstrate that the atmospheric environmental indicators at the boundary of the plant area all meet the limit requirements of the Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants (GB 18918—2002) after the completion of deodorization system upgrade project.
